Achieving a correct pro golf swing will not only help any golfer improve their game, but even more important, will help them enjoy their golf game much more.

As many golfers delve deeper into increasingly desperate efforts to improve their game, it is very easy for any golfer to lose the enjoyment aspect. Some have even given up the game because of this.

Getting your pro golf swing right will involve you focusing on the many different individual parts of the pro golf swing.

The pro golf swing starts with the backswing where equal focus should be placed on both the body rotation and club and arm extension. It should be a fluid and smooth one-piece motion with the front elbow kept as straight as possible.

In the pro golf swing, the downswing, which is the next stage, begins in the legs and hips. You should begin transferring your body weight from back to front by moving forward the knees, and then the thighs and hips.

In the final pro golf swing stage of impact and follow through, the body weight should be on the outside of the forward heel and the inside of the rear foot. The heel of the back foot should be raised slightly with the back knee also slightly bent inwards.

In this final phase of the pro golf swing, the arms are also critical. Hands, wrists and forearms should rotate so that the grip end of the club points toward the target. The wrists should rotate over and the elbows should bend, with the club head bring behind. The whole movement should end with you on your front heel, your back foot on its’ toes.

Golf work outs, exercises and conditioned golf muscles will make it much easier for you to quickly and consistently achieve the pro golf swing. To learn more detail and perfect your golf swing, you should take a look at my “Simple Golf Swing Review.” With it, you’ll be able to learn in more detail how to swing correctly and you will receive various training aids to help you perfect your game.

“I know I am getting better at golf because I am hitting fewer spectators.” – Gerald Ford

I guess this former president understood what it meant to improve on your golf swing! Golfing is one of the most popular sports in the world, especially for retirees. It is a great pastime sport that is played, not only competitively, but also for the sheer pleasure of relaxation. I played a 9-hole course with my brother once and I can see why it is a relaxing sport, with the exception of lugging the golf bag around!

Whether you are already a die hard golfer or are a beginner, you want to learn how you can get the best golf swing so that you can start having fun and the best games you want. If you want to get a better golf swing, here is how to do it.

It’s All in the Flow of the Swing

One of the most important things to know when it comes to getting the best golf swing is timing and body spacing. Slow anticipation in your backswing, and then launch an accelerated swing forward! Remember your backswing is slow and steady; this is a major step to take. If you just give it and see what happens then sure you might get lucky but you are going to need to have proper rhythm if you want to have the best golf swing. It takes practice, so don’t get frustrated or give up if you are having troubles at first, because over time you will progress and improve your golf swing.

Many golfers make the mistake of thinking that if they copy another golfer’s swing that they are going to be able to improve, – not true. In fact, you will do yourself a great disservice, because everyone’s golf stance is different, depending on their own height, weight and other personal factors that may impact such things as balance and so forth. Remember that you really cannot improve your golf swing by reading a book or watching a video alone, but rather through taking the time to play the game as often as you can, and observing your own actions you can improve your golf swing greatly.

It is true golfers offer you great tips and tricks, just make sure that you make your own game and that you create the stance that is going to work for you so that you enjoy the best golf game.
You should consider taking a look at the book “Simple Golf Swing” because it can be useful in showing you how to stand correctly, how to correct your posture issues, and help improve your golf swing.

It seems as though that with the new and increasing popularity of golf, many new players are entering the game, only to find out that they’re up against stiff competition. As you might expect, golf instructors are cashing in on this popular sport by releasing their own courses and instruction books. A book that has the golfing community up in a craze is The Simple Golf Swing written by “Golf Swing Guru”. It claims that it is able to shave off 7 strokes from your next round. From the hyped up craze that people are talking about, is this book’s teaching instructions and various bonus lessons really going to improve my golf swing? This review will explore the specific techniques shown in The Simple Golf Swing to see if it can give you your money’s worth.

The Simple Golf Swing makes large claims in that you can improve yourself by about 7-9 strokes by using their method, but what is it and how does this book teach it to you? First off, the Simple Golf Swing method works by showing you how to take advantage of your spine. You’ll be using your spine as an axis so that you’ll be on the right swing plane. Second, the author explains in extensive detail the right way to swing, how you should be gripping the club, and many other hand actions. Once you’re able to correct it, you will be able to hit your ball much further than you used to. His book covers many more topics, all about everything you need to know about swinging, to a mental guide and coaching advice. Everything is explained very well so that even a newbie can understand and improve his success at golf.

In addition to explaining you the concept behind all of his techniques and advice, he has a whole plan set up in the book that allows you to quickly learn the method. The author’s teaching style revolves around 5 main steps to correct your swing. The book itself isn’t a long read, so you’ll be able to learn and study this new technique in less than a day. It offers detailed explanations for all chapters and it even provides many photographs so that you’ll know what to do. However, when it comes to mastering this new system, it will take you a little bit longer than a day. It should take you approximately 1 to 2 weeks before you’ll become decent with this technique. The good thing about The Simple Golf Swing‘s package is that it gives you DVD clips, practice drills, and training aids to help you adapt to the new method much quicker. After your second or third week, you’ll be seeing great results and be more than ready to use it in a game. Overall, the entire Simple Golf Swing package is an amazing “teacher” for improving your game… in swinging techniques and many other important aspects of golf.

The entire Simple Golf Swing package also includes many bonus offers to sweeten up the deal. Each of them deal with a specific topic and are designed to improve your skills. The first bonus, “The Simple Chip,” shows you how to consistently put it close to the pin without needing three or more strokes when you’re simply 10 yards from the green. Another bonus is the “Fit to a Tee” book, which is all about how your body can affect your swing. It’s a very interesting book, and can it can be an eye-opener for all sorts of golfers. One last bonus I’d like to mention is a small report. It’s a small collection of articles written by expert instructors with the aim of decreasing strokes from your game. It gave me useful tips, and I actually was able to reduce a few strokes! There are actually a total of 8 different bonuses, but I only covered my top 3 favorite bonuses that have given me useful information for improving my game (if you want to see what the rest of the bonuses are, check out the official website).

In the end, after I’ve read through all of his books and bonuses, have I actually gotten any results? Yes! About a week of practicing the techniques and advice described in this book, I was able to shave off about 6-8 strokes. About a month later, after I became much more experienced with the system, I was about 8-10 strokes better than I was before! I was amazed that this system was able to live up to its claim. I was a bit skeptical when I first heard about this book, but now that I’ve tried it out, it’s something that I recommend to my readers. Currently the book itself has a value of $97, but is selling for $47 (plus bonuses). It also has a 60 day money back guarantee if this system doesn’t work out for you. If you’re looking for something to improve your game, then The Simple Golf Swing is your book!

The golf players are well acquainted with what are exactly known as ‘ the best golf drivers’, but for those who are new to the game of golf might get confused by the term ‘golf drivers’. Well there is no brain-game involved in understanding a golf driver and its significance. There are of course some specifications for choosing the best golf driver. If a driver has a roughly elliptical face shape in a way that the long axis of the ellipse is tilted upward towards the toe, at an angle recording twenty degrees or more, the agreement between the perimeter of the club face and the hit pattern just goes perfect.

But what exactly defines the best golf driver? How can one choose a perfect golf driver for himself/herself? These are the questions which often create confusion, even in the mind of the most experienced golf player. However, there is nothing to worry as the tips and tricks of choosing the best golf driver are quite simple. The first thing that you need to consider while choosing a golf driver is its size. Every golfer wants to drive the ball to the furthest corner and all of them want to be considered to be the man of the moment. Most of the oversized drivers are built according to the largest legal specifications. It does not matter whether you prefer lightweight carbon crowns or weight screws; you would always find the exact driver which would give its best performance during the game.

The Alpha golf drivers are the most preferred ones when it comes to the question of popularity with the long-drive crowd. In the recent tours C830.4 Plasma Driver Set was seen in the hands of the top three players. If you are looking to improve your game and planning to buy a golf driver, then wait no more and search your way through all the unbiased and trusted reviews on internet. Some of the biggest golf driver brands include Ping, Nike, Callaway and Taylormade. Different golf drivers have different centers of gravity. So make sure you know what fits your bill, when you set out to choose a golf driver for yourself the next time.

If you find yourself hooking or slicing your shots often, you most likely want to know just what you have to do to get your ball moving straight. Obviously, everyone wants to know how to best hit a straight shot so that you can get your ball at its maximum distance. If you can hit the ball straight down the fairway, you’ll have an easy time getting closer towards the green. In this article, you will learn exactly what a slice is, and how you can do something to correct it.

What is the main problem that causes so many players to not hit a ball straight? Basically, slices are caused by a tilt of the golf ball’s spin-axis in a clockwise spin. Slices usually move towards the right of your intended target line, and this term is usually said when the curved trajectory is unintentional. On the other hand, “fades” are intentional and controlled versions of slices.

If you want to hit a golf ball squarely and straight with every shot, you have to think about the club head at the original spot at the impact area. Slices are caused when the club face is open as you’re hitting the ball, which makes the ball spin clockwise. Your swing path will normally be right, but the ball isn’t struck squarely, most likely due to a weak grip.

When you find that you can’t hit the golf ball in a straight line, the first thing to examine is how your grip is. You can use any type of grip (interlocking, overlapping, baseball). The thing that really affects the flight path of your ball is your grip strength. To fix a slice, try moving your hands around towards the right for a stronger grip position.

There are some other things you can do to cure a slice. First off, avoid gripping the club very tightly to the point that you tense up your muscles in the wrists & forearms. Second, you can try to swinging much faster. A faster swing results in more distance and it will reduce the extremity of a slice that you put onto a golf ball. Another thing is that you might be using the wrong flex of shaft. This may cause some problems for your shots. If you hit 250+ yards, then use a stiff/extra stiff flex, from 200-250 yards use a firm/regular flex, and under 200 yards use the ladies/senior flex.

Your address position has to be right if you want to hit your golf ball straight. You have to align your shot with your shoulders, hips, and feet all parallel to the target line. When you are about to tee off with a driver, the best ball position is opposite of the instep of your left foot. The sole of the club should also be on the ground and not tilted forwards (standing too close to ball) or tilted backwards (standing too far from ball).

If you hit a slice or a hook once in a while, then go back and review the essentials of the golf swing. Remember to place your feet shoulder-width apart from each other. Keep your eyes on the ball with your knees bent a little, and keep your back straight with your chin facing up. I won’t talk too much about the basic golf swing in this method, but remember to start off your back swing straight and make sure your downswing remains on the same plane. Your swing speed should stay consistent throughout the entire backswing to the downswing.

There are two more things that can prevent you from hitting a nice straight ball – the push and pull shot. The push shot is when the ball flies off of the club face towards the right and the pull shot is towards the left. The push shot is a result of an in-to-out swing path and the pull results from an out-to-in swing path. Both of these effects are due to a bad golf swing and not knowing the fundamentals of the swing.

Golf is a fun game that many people can enjoy. At the same time, it can be a complex game that’s difficult to be great at, so if you plan to become good, you have to start out learning the foundations. In this article, I will give you three important golf tips so that you can learn the fundamentals and develop a great golf swing.

By the way, even experienced golfers have trouble with their golf swing from time to time, so these tips are always worth a read. These are the fundamentals, so they’re always important to look back.

1. Balancing your Swing – There’s one problem that causes people to think that golf is hard to master, and it would be beneficial to correct this mistake of yours as soon as possible. This common mistake is when golfers lean back too much or when they lean forward too much. When this happens, you won’t be able to perform a full swing pivot and weight shift without losing your balance. To correct this, you should remember that you should be placing your weight on the balls of your feet. If someone were to push you, they should be having difficulties bringing you off your balance. Now, as you are swinging your club, you’ll be able to swing correctly because you won’t be making any last second compensations that occur from your lack of balance.

2. Get Crisper Shots – If you want crisper shots, you’re going to have to learn how to hit down on the ball. A great training method is to practice this on a downslope. Using a middle iron, select a lie so that your forward foot is a few inches below your rear foot. The ball must be on the same incline. Keep your shoulders parallel to the slope. Use two clubs in order to form a T to monitor your shoulder line and ball positioning. Keep one club pointing downwards from your nose, and hold your other club across your shoulders parallel to the ground. As you’re swinging down, keep your spine angle and focus on moving your weight to your front leg. This will allow your hands to move forward and help create a descending blow and a clubhead lag.

3. Curing your Putting Yips – This is to help your short game, which is also known as putting. What are putting yips? It’s when the clubface opens and closes inconsistently. If you find yourself having this problem, then it could be due to poor alignment. Usually it means you’re aiming too far to the left. When your alignment is aiming towards the left, you’ll have to open the face on the backstroke in order to get your ball into the hole. Usually this compensation causes the yips. An exercise that you can do to reduce this problem is to place the club on the ground outside your putter. Place another club at your feet, which is parallel to the target line. Now you can use the clubs as a line guide so that you can see where to aim and use it as a guide for the path of your stroke.

Understanding the mechanics of your body and knowing which part of it you should strengthen will give you that optimal swing that every golfer desires. The core area of the body is the region between the knees and your chest. It is composed of muscles, bones, nerves, and all other underlying structures.

The core area is the region of the body where most of the golf swings essential components occur. The body works like an oiled machine to hit that ball on the ground and make it cut through the air to land a few hundred meters on the fairway. The spine serves as an axis where the shoulder fully rotates before striking the ball. The bones are the levers and the muscles the machines that give it the right amount of thrust. The lower back muscles and the abdominal muscles stabilize the upper body for the stability needed to complete the golf swing.

Understanding the correlation of the body movements to the golf swing sheds light to the importance of core training for improvement of performance in the sport.

Golf requires flexibility, strength, balance, and endurance to bring that ball where you want it to be. One cannot be competitive in golf if he doesn’t have the minimum physical components required.

Cross Specificity in Core Training

Cross specificity trains an athletes body for positions required and the movements needed for a particular sport. With golf, the most common area of improvement is the increase of the distance where they can send the ball to. To do this a golfer must study the mechanics of his swing and the ability of his muscle to have that power for the needed swing.

How the golfer coils his shoulder to cock it for the swing is very vital. The next part of the swing is unleashing the power as it strikes the ball. The club head speed can be developed by training the body trough the motion it needs to complete a powerful swing.

One great exercise to go through is plyometrics using a medicinel ball. Side throws using the medicine ball will help one achieve that power swing. Here’s how to do it:

On address position stand three to four feet away from a wall. Use a three to five pound medicine ball and execute a back swing. At the end point of the movement, make a coiling action and forcefully rotate the hips, throwing the ball to the wall. Catch the ball as it bounces back. You can repeat this exercise eight to twelve times. You also have to do it on the opposite side of the body to achieve balance. A golfer can do this routine twice a week. Remember that plyometrics require strength and flexibility as a prerequisite.

Core training program for golf will only be effective if it is geared towards achieving balance, strength, flexibility and power that is specific to the sport. The exercises included in the program must be correlated to the movements that you need for golf.

Not every program labeled as core training will be beneficial to you as a golfer. Ask for professional
assistance if needed to avoid injuries due to improper body mechanics during exercise.
